Directly reports to: Blue Iguana Operations Manager and Darwin Project Lead.

Background:
Blue Iguana Conservation (BIC) is a project under the National Trust for the Cayman Islands (NTCI), focusing on saving the charismatic Grand Cayman blue iguanas.
Job Summary:
The Field Research Officer (FO) is responsible for the implementation of the objectives outlined in the Darwin Plus Grant (DPLUS163 –
Preserving Endemic Threatened Wildlife Populations Through Effective Protected Area Management) which is aligned to the National Trust for the Cayman Islands Strategic Plan (2021-2025) and the Blue Iguana Strategic Species Action Plan 2021 -2026. He/she ensures the delivery of the activities of the grant.
Salary & Benefits:
- Salary range KYD$36,000.00-42,000.00, full basic health insurance and statutory pension contribution. Due to the tough fieldwork environment, shoe allowance and uniform shirts provided.
