Join us in celebrating a milestone in Cayman’s history!
We’re honoring the 85th Anniversary of Cayman’s last standing one-room schoolhouse, a cherished landmark that represents the beginnings of formal education in the Cayman Islands. The Old Savannah Schoolhouse served the community for 41 years before it was replaced by the more spacious and modern building located just behind it.
Enjoy special musical performances by Savannah Primary School students and take a nostalgic walk down memory lane with heartfelt stories shared by former students.
This celebration also marks 30 years of ownership by the National Trust for the Cayman Islands, safeguarding the Old Savannah Schoolhouse a cherished historic site for present and future generations.
