Press Release: National Trust for the Cayman Islands Mourns the Passing of Its First Executive Director
The National Trust is sad to announce the passing of Lady Dace Ground, the first Executive Director of the National Trust for the Cayman Islands. Lady Dace passed away on October 31st 2025 in Chesterfield Hospital, UK after a short illness. She was well known in the Caribbean Overseas Territories for her support of National Trusts not only in Cayman but also Bermuda and the Turks and Caicos Islands. Until her passing she was still very much involved in the U K Territories Conservation Forum. The National Trust for the Cayman Islands extends its condolences to all those saddened by her passing.
