A short letter from our Little Cayman District Committee to anyone interested in donating and participating in this year’s auction:

With the continued success of the 2025 Easter Auction raising US $55,321 for the Little Cayman District Committee Land Fund and CI $11,134.80 for District Committee general operations, maintenance, and ongoing initiatives including Booby chick rescue, Green Iguana B’Gonna, Sister Islands Rock Iguana conservation, we once again thank all of our donors and bidders for their exceptional generosity.

It was decided by the membership that the Special Project for this year will be to raise funds to support the continuing presence of a paid National Trust staff member on Little Cayman in 2027 or if this is not needed, funds will be directed to the completion of the Loop Trail Special Project including the boardwalk.

We are asking for your donations of financial sponsorship, merchandise, art works, services/gift certificates and other items for auction.

  • Cash Donations directly provide the necessary funds to immediately support the Special Project, our operations, and fulfill our mission statement here on Little Cayman.
  • Merchandise, art works, and other items for auction which are most popular are those that represent our islands, especially our sea life, birds and land animals, and landscapes. Bidders especially like works by local artisans and artists which give them an opportunity to own an authentic Cayman creation.
  • Services and Certificates provide opportunities to build connections, explore new interests, or create memories that can last a lifetime.

The National Trust is close to the hearts of many. We look forward to welcoming you at the 33rd Annual Easter Auction on April 4, 2026, to help make this year another great success and thank you again for your loyal support.

Sincerely,

Easter Auction Committee,

The Little Cayman District Committee of the National Trust
