Fundrasier- Silver Thatch: A Tapestry in Nature & Heritage, 25th April 2026
Join us for an evening of celebrating our heritage!
On 25 April 2026, we will be hosting our main fundraiser for the year, themed: “Silver Thatch: A Tapestry of Nature & Heritage” at the Cayman Collections Centre in West Bay. The evening will pay homage to our National Tree, the Silver Thatch Palm, which is symbolic of the intertwining of our nature and heritage. The evening will offer an immersive experience with live demonstrations from local artisans who specialize in one of Cayman’s most treasured traditions, thatching.
Our event will include cocktails, Caymanian-inspired canapés , raffle prizes, a silent auction, and a live auction. We will also be giving away 50 Silver Thatch seedlings.
Funds raised go towards the preservation of our natural and built heritage.
