Youth Advisory Committee Applications Now Open
Are you passionate about preserving natural environments and places of historic significance for the present and future generations of the Cayman Islands? Do you want to help shape the future of youth engagement within the National Trust for the Cayman Islands (NTCI)? We’re excited to invite applications for our first NTCI Youth Advisory Committee!
The National Trust Council (NTC) – Youth Advisory Committee (YAC) shall involve young professionals and emerging leaders in supporting the mission and initiatives of the NTCI while providing them with valuable networking, leadership, and volunteer opportunities. We are seeking dynamic individuals aged 18-30 from a diversity of backgrounds and professions, to serve as ambassadors for the NTCI. We envision this committee and its members making a growing commitment to empowering the next generation of heritage leaders towards elevating the mission and vision of the NTCI by actively engaging in fundraising, outreach, and advocacy activities.

The role of the NTC-YAC shall be:
· To cultivate a new generation of passionate stewards committed to the preservation and promotion of Caymanian heritage.
· To advise the NTCI on issues from a youth perspective and to provide policy recommendations as necessary.
· To work toward a sustainable future for our natural and historic treasures through collaboration, innovation, and community engagement.
· To advocate for environmental conservation, historic heritage, and sustainable development within the Cayman Islands.
· To volunteer time, expertise, and resources towards NTCI projects and events.
Who should apply? We’re looking for young people (aged 18–30) who are:
· Passionate about preserving natural environments and places of historic significance within the Cayman Islands
· Interested in helping to shape the future of youth engagement within the NTCI
· Eager to collaborate, share ideas and take initiative
· Involved with or seeking connections to the NTCI or a similar heritage or culture organizations
Hoping to work alongside and network with like-minded individuals from a variety of professions both within the Cayman Islands and abroad
