Location: Grand Cayman
Background:
Blue Iguana Conservation (BIC) is a project under the National Trust for the Cayman Islands (NTCI), focusing on saving the charismatic Grand Cayman blue iguanas.
Job Summary:
The Protected Area project Officer (FO) is responsible for the implementation of the objectives outlined in the Darwin Plus Grant (DPLUS163 – Preserving Endemic Threatened Wildlife Populations Through Effective Protected Area Management) which is aligned to the National Trust for the Cayman Islands Strategic Plan (2021-2025) and the Blue Iguana Strategic Species Action Pan 2021 -2026. The FO will ensure the delivery of the activities of the grant.

Salary & Benefits:
• Salary KYD$48,000, full health insurance and statutory pension contribution. Due to the tough fieldwork environment, shoe allowance and uniform shirts provided.
