Join us for a webinar on March 9th featuring young Caymanians discussing issues associated with climate change in the Caribbean. The National Trust for Trinidad and Tobago has invited us to speak on the topic in advance of their conference “Keeping History Above Water” which will examine the impacts and share best practices regarding climate change and sea level rise in the Caribbean and beyond.

Description: While island nations emit less than 1% of the greenhouse gases that cause climate change, we are among the most vulnerable locations in the world to its negative impacts. Climate change is expected to result in a variety of environmental, social, and economic effects, including threats to natural habitats and historic heritage.  Join us for a conversation with our friends at the National Trust for the Cayman Islands and their youth activists to discuss the problem and ways that we can address it as a region.
