Families Can Cultivate Their Culinary Skills Together
It’s hot outside and the Summer holidays are upon you. If finding something fun to do with your kids that keeps you out of the sun is top on your list this Summer, then look no further than the National Trust for the Cayman Islands, which runs brilliant cooking classes both for children and also for teens and adults. Not only do participants learn to make some amazing traditional dishes; they also get to learn something about the history and culture of the Cayman Islands.
This is because all classes take place at the atmospheric Mission House, located at 63 Gun Square, Bodden Town, an apt location considering this splendid building was once an important place of education, functioning as a schoolhouse all the way back in the 18th century, when Bodden Town was once the Island’s capital district. Now the building, of considerable historic significance to Grand Cayman, is overseen by the National Trust.BACK TO NEWS
