Mahogany Bay Phosphate Park
A protected area in Little Cayman.
A protected area in Little Cayman.
This small parcel of land contains three large mahogany trees that are hundreds of years old. The trees are a prominent landmark on Little Cayman and are clearly visible towering above the surrounding forest. The land was an old open pit phosphate mine in centuries past with excavations occurring literally in the shade of the trees. Enjoy relaxing on the deck beneath these towering majestic trees.
