Saving Spaces That Matter

The National Trust for the Cayman Islands is committed to safeguarding the rich biodiversity and unique ecosystems of our three islands through our Protected Areas Programme

Through land acquisition, habitat restoration, and long-term stewardship, we conserve some of the most environmentally important areas in the Cayman Islands. These protected areas provide critical refuge for native wildlife, safeguard water quality, and help preserve our natural heritage for future generations.

Today, the National Trust protects over 3,000 acres of land, including dry forests, wetlands, coastal areas, and island reserves. Notable sites include:

Each site plays a vital role in conserving native and endemic plants, birds, reptiles, and marine life.
